It is such a waste of space to own furniture that is only “functional in a traditional sense”, no meaning, no soul, it would be just sad. People should look at furniture and wonder, ask questions, what if…what if not, “a social dimensional function”, I think this is what people need! Maybe not all people…but some for sure are craving that just like I do!"

"When I design furniture, I think of sustainability, community, innovation, beauty & art. Functionality & performance are at the top of the list, of course, but I always try to find the opportunity to rethink how we use furniture in our everyday life. For example, when I created TabeLamp, I was thinking, we always have a side table and then add a side lamp, so what if we had them in one design that maximises the usable surface while creating a beautiful sculptural piece that integrates lighting into it. "
